Our most popular beer is made from three different organic grains; barley, wheat & rye. The rye brings a hint of spice to this very approachable beer.
A chocolate oatmeal stout inspired by Odin, our malt house dog. Odin is pictured on the beer can label, and this beer will make your tail wag.
Raking of green malt is essential to the production of quality floor malt. The final step in the malting process is to dry (kiln) the green malt to preserve it for brewing. As both a malt house and a brewery we have the unique opportunity to make beer from green malt, eliminating the energy consumption associated with kilning.
Our Original beer. Made from our three most highly kilned malts (Vienna, Munich & Cara). This beer has a rich malty flavour and a beautiful copper colour.
No matter the day, we always have a rotating IPA. Check out our taplist to see which IPA we're featuring today. We are incredibly proud of our selection of IPA's and once you taste them, you'll know why. You're truly going to want to try them all.
Available by popular demand, seasonally or as small batch one-offs. Check our taplist to see which exclusive beverages are on rotation.
A Kolsch beer containing organic buckwheat grown by John MacLaughlin of PEI. Another unique flavour from Horton Ridge.
There may have been a combine fire on the farm this year. The wheat that was harvested before this alleged incident was used to brew this IPA.
A low ABV beer made entirely from grains (wheat & barley) grown by our friends at TapRoot Organic Farms in nearby Canard NS.
A German Marzen beer infused by local honey collected by the wonderful bees of our good friend John Lelievre. Light and lots of flavours.
A German Schwarzbier (lagered) with hints of chocolate. Dark in colour, sort of a Bar Dog Lite.
