After a year's worth of malting under our belt, we are going to open a small brewery at the malt house. It has always been our goal to shine a light on malt, and in particular how agriculture plays a role in beer production. We have a great opportunity to do this; our malt house is adjacent to our farm, and the fields in which some of our malting grains are grown are visible from the malt house. The connection between malting and the customer is beer, hence our decision to install a brewery. We will be brewing malt forward beers and our customers will learn that beer is not made from hops alone. We are installing a very small system, and it is our plan to supplement our production with beers made by our malt customers. Our goal is to be open by July, please drop by for a taste.
